Green Medicine Acupuncture and Apothecary in Shelby Township offers holistic health care for both people and animals. Owner Mary Helen Lee, a licensed acupuncturist and nationally board certified in Oriental medicine, Chinese herbology and acupuncture, recently relocated from Chicago. She has over 30 years of clinical experience, treating thousands of clients and their pets.
“My clinic is a healing space filled with aromatherapy, full-spectrum lighting, flowering plants, color, crystals, stained glass, relaxing music and a vintage vibe," says Lee. "My goal is to empower people to take control of their health using natural medicine, plant-based remedies, nutrition and detoxification. I am available for a free 15-minute phone consultation.”
Services include Chinese medicine, herbal apothecary with handmade tinctures combining organic and wild-crafted Ayurvedic, Chinese and Western herbs, as well as essential oils, nutritional supplements and homeopathic remedies. Lee also offers ear candling; hair analysis for minerals and heavy metals; and saliva and stool testing for hormones, blood sugar, food allergies, yeast, parasites and gastrointestinal issues.
