Find Your Inner Potential

Chesterfield Yoga Teacher Training Begins in October

Natural Awakenings News: Chesterfield Yoga Teacher Training Begins in September

Whether you are an aspiring yoga teacher or a practitioner who wants to know more about the yoga tradition, Santosha Yoga’s 200 Hour Teacher Training will provide a structure in which to experience the benefits of yoga. Join lead trainer Theresa May, Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT) 500, and cotrainer Cindy Chase, RYT 500, along with other experienced guest teachers, starting Sunday, October 2, in Chesterfield. Learn about the inner and outer workings of yoga and the true essence of the meaning of yoga, and in the process, find your inner potential.

“All of us at Santosha Yoga reinforce through our teachings that yoga is for everyone,” May says. “In this course you will immerse yourself in the traditional practices of yoga. As the benefits of yoga are becoming more recognized, the opportunity and need for teachers increase. Even if you don’t plan on teaching, the personal benefits of the teacher training program are plentiful.”

The course is registered with Yoga Alliance, a nationally recognized organization. Teachers who meet the standards that are set forth by Yoga Alliance are eligible to become RYTs. The application fee to reserve a place in the training is $200.

Santosha Yoga is located at 48774 Gratiot Ave., Chesterfield. For more information or to apply, call Theresa May at 586-949-5515 or visit
